Review of Detroit Rock City (1999) by Alesha[Loves Keenan]A7X — 17 Jul 2008

Silly funny sendup of the beatle's a hard day's night but instead of running from adoring fans these teenage band "Mystery" are a KISS inspired rock band and running away from all the trouble they get into from skipping school to driving to Detroit to springing their friend from boarding school to trying to find tickets that their uptight mom burnt, to tussling with disco fans, the final act sees them find themselves as 4 go their separate ways to get tickets, along the way there's love,confession, stripping,heroism and even Shannon Tweed yes that Shannon Tweed.

..it's an ending we can all predict but the journey is pretty funny and rock inspired...great rock music though, anyone liking the Sountracks in Supernatural TV series will dig this, recommended for all concert goers and probably a step down from Almost Famous but u can identify with the antics if u dig gigs, rock on!!!!
