Review of Detroit (2017) by Warren M — 05 Aug 2017

I was going to give it 4 out of 5 stars,but sitting here in my car I am sick to my stomach. That means it moved me, for that Detroit gets a 5th star. Hollywood often takes "Creative licence" with the truth.

One of my favorite "true" movies Hoosiers is hardly true at all. In reading the actual facts about this movie as reported in 1967 and 1968 It would appear that there is little use of creative licence.

The truth is sick enough. From what I can find online. It appears many of the people on both sides are still alive. I would like to have them tell their version. Even if means putting it in writing and locking it up till after their death.

America deserves to know the truth the whole truth, and nothing but the truth around this historical event in our history.
