Review of Detroit (2017) by Jonas M — 04 Jan 2018

I personally really enjoyed this movie. I thought it did a fine job depicting how unjust things were for African Americans during this time period. All the cast did really well. Although I feel like the trailer was pretty deceiving because I went into this movie thinking it was good be staring John Boyega, which yes he is in it but I would by no means say he is the main character.

That doesn't detract from the film at all just something worth pointing out.
