During a 1967 race riot, three African American men are murdered and several others beaten in Detroit's Algiers Motel.
Based on the true story of the Algiers Motel incident, a tragic house of horrors event conducted by racist Detroit police officers. A dark moment in history well directed by Kathryn Bigelow that has timely importance.
Grade: A-.
