Review of Detroit (2017) by Omar G — 06 Aug 2017
This is more a true life horror movie rather than a dramatic account of a historical event. No doubt Ms. Bigelow is a master of her craft. Plus, the performances of Algee Smith and Will Poulter (as the monster of the movie) were superb.
Highly recommended but it is a visceral watch.
