Review of Detour (1992) by Adrian B — 18 Oct 2010
It is one those unusual film noirs from the 1940's, with an peculiar plotline and odd acting. The film revolves a man who gets mixed up in murder, even though the dead man died of natural causes. He then becomes blackmailed by a woman who claims to have a relationship with the man, and an abusive one for that matter.
The film loaded, despite its very short length of 68 minutes, but it not the best film noir. It is B-budget, although it is definately worth more than a look at the movie poster. Since it is not all that long, it is worth the watch.
Not my favourite film noir particularly though.
