Detention is worth watching because its absurb sureal wackiness and visual music video like flair. I would say it is a mix of Scream, Donnie Darko and Scott Pilgrim Saves the World. They time travel in a stuffed bear, have a pseudo super hero flyman/jock with a TV hand and a debating Canadian.
Not much of it makes sense and it sometimes it has a too silly of vibe like a Waynes Borther movie... It is not a masterpiece but it is an instant cult classic.
