Review of Detachment (2011) by Dustin L — 22 May 2012
I've seen this in the theater and again via streaming. For me, it is a masterpiece. There is outstanding drama, and yes it can be depressing.....but stick with it. The powerful ending, set up so well across the entire movie, is now my all time favorite.
You've seen it before, but never done this well. The only flaw with this film is the marketing.
