Harrowing. Let it be said that this film will put you through the wringer. Brody takes few and far between roles but they are always amazing. This film deals with many hard hitting issues of inner city living in deprived communities.
If you can face it then the film is very rewarding and certainly thought provoking. Don't go if you've had a hard day or you are a school teacher. Precious was a tame film in comparison.
