Review of Detachment (2011) by Paula K — 26 Dec 2013
This film breaks my heart every time I see it. It's one of those wake up call movies that remind you of how much reality sucks. I've seen a lot of those, but this one in particular punched me in the gut when I first saw it.
Adrien Brody gives a great performance as the emotional detached Henry Barthes.
