Review of Despicable Me 3 (2017) by Jarody — 18 Feb 2018
Illumination knows how to make inoffensive, child-friendly animated movies, but they don't seem to know how to make a movie with heart. Family was the focus point of the whole movie and yet it was extremely poor and a completely undeveloped theme, not once did a character go through the struggles of a relationship with facing consequences.
The story is fine, the voice acting is average at best and the animation is nothing special. An overall average movie.
