Review of Despicable Me 3 (2017) by Will E — 16 Dec 2017
A pretty dull and forgettable film, with plot points all over the place that makes the film feel like a mess. It almost feels as though this movie was meant to be two Despicable Me films, but they had to put all of two movies into one.
Certain parts feel very rushed, such as the plot points with the girls, and I found myself bored throughout the movie. The only good part, and this is where the movie excels, is its villain, Balthazar Bratt.
Bratt is one of the most fun villains in recent animated history, who is played to perfection by Trey Parker. His fun, 80s style really brings the audience into the movie, and if he wasn't here, the film would probably only receive one star from me.
