Review of Despicable Me 3 (2017) by Davidtejada — 29 Jun 2017
Sometimes the third part turns out to be the best of the franchise as well as Toy Story 3 or even Star Wars Episode III. But guys, what you haven’t notice is that Illumination is ruining Despicable Me franchise COMPLETELY. After the horrifying prequel “Minions” I did have good expectations with the third part. Sadly EVERYTHING WAS RUINED, not only the characters but also the argument of this movie, A LOST BROTHER AS THE ARGUMENT??!! WTF!?! Even the villain Balthazar was WASTED. They try to make either the same jokes to keep this movie “cool” (and BE CAREFUL because there are also HIDDEN ADULT JOKES) or inductions of so many characters who are useless. In other words it’s becoming as ICE AGE FRANCHISE. And please SOMEONE STOP THE MINIONS that are becoming ANNOYING!!!
I think the reason why I did not put a RED SCORE was because it was referring to the families’ topic and how difficult it could be to become a parent nowadays, the moments between Gru and Lucy (which is still lovely as the second one) and the INCREDIBLE animation which improved a lot.
