Review of Despicable Me 3 (2017) by Fox_Glitch — 02 Jul 2017
Despicable Me 3. After the first two movies, we have a trequel, which shows us another wonderful story about Gru, his girls, Lucy, and the yellow minions. It is a kind story, a great animation and unforgettable characters. It has only two negative points: the first one is the villain. Balthazar Bratt, a former 1980s child star who seeks revenge against the world. He is an interesting and a charismatic character, but who is not sufficiently developed. In the movie we have only two scenes which show us his love for the 80s, but both of them were unbelievable. These scenes are accompanied by typical 80's songs: ''I'm Bad'' and ''Take on me''. The second negative point is the story, more precisely the story lines, there are too many! We have 6 story lines which are little connected. There are Edith and Agnes who search an unicorn, Lucy who wants to be a good mother, Minions in prison etc.
So, I think 8 is the perfect mark for Despicable Me 3.
