Fans should rejoice for another Despicable Me film. We should expect another Despicable Me film to be like the first two. The problem with this installment is that it ends up being sluggish half way through.

What they promised was another Despicable Me film, we expected it to be that way, what we got is a film that ends up being sluggish right before the film can even reach its climax. If you can still laugh your way through, then Despicable Me 3 can be a great film in the franchise, but as a result of having a sluggish plot that never fixed itself during the climax, Despicable Me 3 never receives much praise compared to the first two installments.
