Next part of the Despicable Me is the reduction of flights and humor in relation to other productions. All gags and funny scenes are aimed at younger viewers, and in both the English and the dubbed versions there are no ambiguous or popcultural references in which an adult viewer could find fun.
It is still ridiculous, but it only causes a slight grin, not a laugh.
