There's some odd and unfunny (but I suppose were supposed to be funny?) moments and some pointless/obnoxious songs that don't fit but otherwise Despicable Me 2 is a great sequel to a great movie, even if Gru isn't playing the villain this time around.
It's funny, it's ridiculous, and it gives you hope for once proud big screen animated movie just like the original.
