Review of Despicable Me 2 (2013) by Neal P — 19 Jul 2014

In terms of plot and characters, it was beneath it's predecessor. In terms of laughs and creativity it was superior. Despicable Me 2 is a solid film that can be enjoyed by viewers of all ages despite being a children's movie.

I was honestly laughing throughout much of the film--something I was not expecting, thinking it would be derivative of the first installment. Overall, I was satisfied from the expectations I had set up from the first film.
