- After the success of the first movie, a second installment of 'Despicable Me' did not take long to follow. In this 2013 3D-computer animation we follow the adventures of former supervillain Gru, his assistant Dr. Nefario, the adopted girls and... the hilarious minions! 'Despicable Me 2' offers a guaranteed package of entertainment, full of likeable characters, amazing visuals and a number of laughs. With the voices of Steve Carell (The 40-year Old Virgin, Get Smart), Russell Brand (Arthur, Rock of Ages) and Kristen Wiig (Knocked Up, Date Night).
Former supervillain Gru (Carell) is abducted by an undercover agent by the name of Lucy Wilde (Kristen Wiig). He is brought to a secret facility of the Anti-Villain League, where he is told they need his help to find a stolen mutagen. Number one suspect is Mexican restaurant owner Eduardo Perez, also known as 'El Macho'. Because he promised to his adopted kids - Margot, Edith and Agnes - to act good Gru agrees and becomes a undercover agent. While the children are trying their best to help Gru find the perfect wife, doctor Neferio (Brand) decides to leave...
