Just like the first movie, I found this to be okay family fare, but not interesting enough to really get into it. The girls are still incredibly cute, the minions are silly (and a bit stupid if you ask me), and Gru is no longer a villain due to his love of the girls.
The story is merely fluff to showcase the girls and the minions. Eh.
