Review of Desperate Measures (1998) by Zack L — 27 Nov 2007
I know what your thinking, Michael Keaton as the southern equivalent of Hannibal Lecter? Sounds really dumb, but acctually is a good one. Keaton and Garcia have alot of fun with this somewhat ridiculous plot and movie.
Its over the top, lots of explosions, somewhat illogical moments in the plot, but all in all its alot of fun to watch. The directing is good and the action is definatly up to par with other films like it.
Keaton borderlines on hamming it up sometimes while garcia tries to stay uber intense. It might not be perfect but let me tell you its a hell of a lot of fun to watch, if your looking for low intensity fun you have found it.
