Review of Desperate Acts of Magic (2013) by John P — 30 Aug 2013

I saw this movie on the west coast and truly enjoyed it. I'm a fan of magic and the independent film concept. Having seen many iffy independent films I was completely surprised by how well this worked.

The acting was of a very high standard, the story was excellent, it explored the "magic underground" of LA which was interesting. It was funny and clever magic was weaved throughout. Considering what must have been a very modest budget this was everything a movie could be.

Well done and worthy of your CD collection.
