Review of Desperado (1995) by Darren P — 07 Mar 2009
An enjoyably absurd action comedy that combines Mexican caricatures with Rodriguez's cool style. Ostensibly the sequel to the ultra-low budget El Mariachi, it's essentially a Hollywood remake with some of the old faces reappearing in cameo roles.
Tarantino has a classic cameo with his bar joke scene.
