Review of Descent (2007) by Jeremiah K — 31 Mar 2012

I generally despise horror films, primarily because most of the time they're nothing more than thrasher films. However, when I finished watching this film the first thing I thought to myself was, "What just happened?" This was a horror film that made me think.

There was a good deal of language unfortunately, and there was still blood and violence, but not until closer to the end of the film. The suspense is built up enough that by the time things really start happening it's pretty intense.

Rating it on the scale of horror films, this has got to be one of the best I've seen in a long time.
