Review of Descent (2007) by Jeca S — 25 May 2012

Halfway through the movie, the excitement just faded. Although it did cover not just one aspect of fear (but a whole lot), I think for me it tried to take on so many themes and topics that none (or just a handful) of them actually were in-depth and had an effect on the movie's horror. And although character development isn't really the main focus of horror movies, it would have helped if the characters were those we could "connect" with, to be able to feel their fear more.

I love horror movies, but this is does not make it to my personal top faves.
