Why does this film have such a good rating? It's just like every other horror film today. Nope that's not correct. The Descent is the best horror film of the new days. A realism was the key. Cave diving.
Darkness, alone, death, claustrophobia. All fears that most people have. Then adding creatures that are in the dark trying to kill you. This isn't the jumping type of scary, it's the emotional, and that's the best way to be scared.
What's going to happen next? Is it around the corner? The Descent does the horror genre justice.
