Review of Descent (2007) by Glenn H — 26 Oct 2012
Despite that I'm not fan of gore movies; sometimes one movie comes around and it's good. In this case is not just good it's really good. The Descent is the perfect combination between gore and suspense, and in this case the violence is justified because we are talking about some creatures that eat flesh.
The atmosphere of the movie is great, you really feel the claustrophobic experience that these girls are having in those caves, the movie reminds me a little bit to the classic "Alien", and the movie in fact is really really scary.
This one it's ranked in my top five of the scariest movies of all time. If you like scary movies you have to see this one; you won't regret it.
