A slightly better horror movie than I was expecting, The Descent isn't amazing but it gets the job done and provides a number of good subterranean-monster-related scares along the way. The characters and plot are forgettable, but if you're looking for a fun scary movie with its fair share of blood and thrills, you could do worse than The Descent.
