Descendant isn't horrible, but it is rather boring and uninspired despite trying to use a somewhat interesting premise involving descendants of Edgar Allan Poe. Even when murders are happening, the film just doesn't raise much interest, and the acting is wooden along with the awful dialogue.
This doesn't work as a horror film, a thriller, or even a guilty pleasure. What a shame.
