Amazing movie! I saw this movie in 1979 and fell in love with it! It took me almost 10 years to find the vhs version of the movie and now i'm looking for the dvd. The setting of the movie is quite incredible, the photography amazing.
.. but what do you expect? It's a Kurosawa movie!!! This movie teaches a very important lesson... it does not matter where you come from or what your background is... what matters is your true self and the bond of friendship that you build along.
