Review of Derailed (2002) by Carlos S — 24 Aug 2008

Been meaning to watch this for a year or two, heard good things about it, but when I finally got around to seeing it, it was a disappointment. Clive Owen is good here as always, but just could get past the point that he was cheating on his wife and sick daughter and found it difficult to feel sorry for him.

Also, the big twist? I saw it coming a mile down the track. The film looks good and the performances are good (apart from Xzibit, always looks like he can smell something bad on his shoe), but not a great or original story.
