Review of Dennis the Menace (1993) by Mark W — 30 Jan 2010
Why did I enjoy this movie? I can actually see that John Hughes spark, it's pretty buried, but it's there. Walter Matthau is amazing in this, the cinematography is pretty stylish, the music is quirky and comedy-poppy, but it actually is good too (thanks to the man, Jerry Goldsmith).
And Dennis isn't that annoying. He's just a curious little boy. It's pretty much as good as a Dennis the Menace movie could be.
