Review of Den of Thieves (2018) by Rod B — 24 Jan 2018

Starting off a review saying that a movie is way better then I thought it would be isn't always good, but in the case of Den of Thieves it is the truth. Lately Gerard Butler has been in some garbage action flicks that you just know where it is going type of movies.

This time though we have a heist movie that is pretty well thought out and is executed pretty nicely. Yes it is way too long, like 20-30 minutes too long, but I'll take that over seeing a just another predictable action flick any day.

There is also payoff for your time investment with a pretty cool ending as well. Where this thing suffers through is a totally unnecessary relationship storyline between husband and wife. The climatic scene does go on for quite some time, which I liked.

Guys this is a nice little surprise for us to start the year. Ladies, well if you like action, I think you could do worse.
