Review of Demolition Man (1993) by Shane D — 15 Jun 2013

When it comes to Stallone films made in the 90's there are very few films that seem to get a passing grade. I had not seen this, ever, but when mentioned to friendly folks I know, their faces lit up.

It's a fan favourite it seems. It's Stallone's TOTAL RECALL I guess. That's not to say it's anywhere near as good, but its not overly that bad. It's actually an attempt at a comedy as there are as many one-liners as there are axe-kicks.

Stallone, for all his detractors, can actually have a fair bit of charisma which he does here. Snipes is way over the top, which the role called for and Bullock is just plain nutty (not sure if that was intended).

Look, its not nearly as bad as I was expecting...Judge Dredd is next...I don't have high hopes...
