Review of Demolition Man (1993) by Tim H — 17 Jun 2014
This awesome action/comedy film is what you get you have two big time great actors like Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes and also a slur of many others including Sandra Bullock and group them together and then you get this blockbuster hit.
Sylvester Stallone plays Detective John Spartan who is chasing super criminal Simon Phoenix. Spartan makes a mistake with the hostages Phoenix has and they both get send to the Cryo-prison and get frozen.
Years later now into the future Phoenix escapes and causes destruction and mayham. The futuristic police are not use to this kind of violence so they unfreeze John Spartan. It has the right amount of action and many great one liners to make this film a total blast.
Greatly acted out this movie is a fun ride in the future. Stallone and Snipes definatly are at the top of their game here. Usually Bullock tries at times to be funny and over does it but not here. She too timed it right with the jokes and was pretty funny.
It's a good mix of suspense, lots of great action, and hardcore laughs. Defiantly one of Stallone's best movies.
