Review of Demolition (2016) by Carolyn C — 03 Apr 2016
Clean-cut, businessman Jake scruffy, detached & crazed Jake clean-cut again, albeit distant Jake semi-scruff, dedicated & determined Jake. Just the type of quirky story that I love to experience on screen.
Gyllenhaal continues to choose great roles and the supporting cast is excellent. The young actor playing Naomi Watts characters' 15 year old son reminded me of a young DiCaprio. By the time the film was over I was resisting an odd compelling urge to wage a shopping spree on a major hardware store.
