Review of Demolition (2016) by Said C — 24 Apr 2016
I'm giving this move 3 stars because Jake Gyllenhaal, Chris Cooper and Judah Lewis give VERY strong performances, but their performances here are far better than the movie. Although I like how the movie developed the relationship between Davis Mitchell and Chris Moreno (Gyllenhall's & Lewis' characters), the movie was otherwise very slow moving and predictable.
We've heard far better & much more meaningful redemption stories.
