Review of Demolition (2016) by Amanda C — 03 Oct 2016
Jean-Marc Vallee has always had a unique way of contracting films. He has a way of turning abstract thoughts into understandable images. Demolition is fascinating and gripping as we watch a man deconstruct his life.
The film gives no easy answers, as it explores the depths of grief. Jake Gyllenhaal has never been better and Vallee proves once again to be one of the best filmmakers currently working.
