Review of Dementia 13 (1963) by C F — 10 Jul 2007
Most famous nowadays for being one of Francis Ford Coppola's first movies, but it's still a low budget Roger Corman b-movie. Coppola is still a novice here, so the overall execution has plenty of flaws.
But there are still flashes of brilliance here and there, most notably in the sense of mystery and creepiness that carries through much of the movie. So while it's not terribly great, there's still enough that works to make for an interesting little mystery/horror flick.
