Review of Delta Farce (2007) by Leiru Odnamra A — 18 Jun 2009
As the title says so, it's a farce of war movies. Very well known comedians Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall and underclass actor DJ Qualls star as 3 stereotypical rednecks who seem to have rough daily lives who ,almost forcefully, are supposed to head to the Iraq war are instead shipped to Mexico.
Humor-wise it doesn't COMPLETELY live up to the standards that Larry and Bill usually deliver in their live acts but still good for a bunch of chuckles. Plus Danny Trejo stars as a (no surprise) tough-guy mexican crook who terrorizes a little village in Mexico and it suddenly becomes the 3 army buds' new mission to stop him.
Acting is pretty decent and the overall plot is worthy enough to watch.
