Review of Deliverance (1972) by Stuart M — 18 Aug 2015
A good film about four friends canoeing down a soon to be flooded river. I thought it was clever how the sense of dread and terror turns out to be largely unfounded as only the two rapists are shown to be evil while the seemingly threatening hillbillies prove to be harmless enough.
Which explains their overreacting.
