Review of Deliverance (1972) by Brian S — 04 Feb 2009
Dark, depressing, and very slow-paced. some very clever ambiguous story-telling though, especially the whole conflict of "appreciate nature while it lasts vs. let man's relationship with nature take its due course.
" a terrific post-modern horror film that challenges human perception and relationships. maybe a bit too slow and simple for my tastes, but its moments of brilliance are undeniable.
