A graphic exploration on the human element of nature. deliverance proves to be one of the most unforgettable films of its time. the star power of the film is only the icing on top of the cake. a strong, painful rape scene followed by surprising deaths all challenge the group of friends, fully testing their "City-style" democracy in the mountains of hillbillys and crackers.
one of the best films I have seen late this year.
