After reading the reviews on this site it confirmed to me that most of the bad reviews are by people wouldn't know a good horror film if they saw one. The Exorcist, which is not only a classic, changed the face of the horror genre forever.

It went from the campy to the truly horrifying. Something many here didn't experience because of their age yet have this faux high brow approach to critique. Let's fast forward a bit. After many disappointing years of the genre, The Exorcism of Emily Rose showed that supernatural themes can be resurrected and done well.

Using that same formula but combining it with the dark thriller formula of a SEVEN elevates this film to a new level of creepy that transports the audience into a anxiety filled experience that lasts even when you leave the theater.

The the purpose of a good horror film is to allow the audience to suspend disbelief and scare the bejesus out of them. This film does it's job with a well written storyline and numerous scares. If you like a thriller, horror or supernatural film.

..Deliver Us From Evil will not disappoint.
