This is a bad movie. As it glacially limps to the finish line, I wasn't sure who to blame. Was it the cinematographer? No, definitely not. The mood is dark and dense, much like Seven. Was it the director? No, I don't think so.

Everything is stylized and framed how it should. Was it the writer? Yes, I think thats about right. There is no sense of progress or reward to any discovery because we have seen it all before. The actors try their best to deliver cliche line after cliche line, but it doesn't work.

By the climactic exorcism, the film had already buckled under it's own mediocrity, and no amount of satanic special effects could have saved it.
