Very hard to believe such a fantastic book ends up a film like this. While there were some decent parts to the movie the entire erie dark feeling the book had was completely lost in the movie with the typical jumps and spooky possession parts.

It ends up just a sloppy, rushed half hearted movie to me. I went in thinking this was going to be the book I read in a few days because it was so good but this movie left way too much not even touched from the book.

Probably won't watch this again, even though I own it now.
