For the past few years, we horror fans have been let down again and again by modern "horror" movies. More often than not, the story lines are overused and the scare tactics are pathetic and expected. Deliver Us From Evil deviates greatly from these films by being unique and totally unpredictable.

While watching this, I assumed I was on the right path while guessing the ending, but I was completely wrong. Every time I attempted to guess what was coming, the movie took an thrilling turn. The production combined with the storyline and lighting effects, set the overall eery and evil atmosphere for this masterpiece. I had high hopes for this film and I wasn't let down, It somehow turned out better than I expected. A must watch.
