Director Amy Berg cut her teeth producing investigative news stories for CBS and CNN. She applies the same approach to this documentary, which paints a horrifying portrait of Oliver O'Grady himself: the pedophile priest whose twenty plus years of sexual abuse had been swept under the rug by the Catholic Church.
Berg juxtaposes O'Grady's interview footage with his victims and their advocates, which lacerates the viewer. The final result is infuriating, unsettling, and riveting.
