I almost wish I wasn't such an ex-catholic so I could feel the anger of an insider, but as it is the faith left me a loooong time ago, thanks in no small part to the mean-spirited nutbar priests masquerading as "teachers" in my high school.

Still, what an unholy Roman empire, to allow such atrocities and treat the victims as the enemy. What is most curious, after the obvous evil coverups that we all know all too much about, is the abuser priest at the centre of it all, so blithely oblivious to the damage he's done, so flip and carefree in the face of so much hatred.

And even about the abuse he suffered as a child (there's another truism rearing it's head) he is rather blase. Weird, bad, sad.
