Review of Deliver Us From Evil (1975) by Shiao-Yin K — 17 Aug 2008
Its horrible, disgusting that such a documentary had to be made - that such hypocrisy has to exist in church, that such wolves in holy clothing walk among us. the interviews with o'grady are so disturbing - what he did is so monstrous but he looks and sounds so benign.
its grotesque to hear his detached, almost amused admission of what he did as much as it is to hear the pain in the voices of his now grown up victims. the scenes of a victim's father crying in fury everytime he fully recalls how he has been betrayed are q distressing, :( powerful but depressing and deeply deeply infuriating.
truly not all who call on the name of christ are actually part of his kingdom! >:_(.
